This is a silent movie showing a Porsche 911 996 3.4 engine removal and replacement. This engine had suffered an IMS bearing failure. We fully stripped and rebuilt it at our Hartland workshop in Devon.

As with any part of the vehicle, engines suffer wear and tear over time. There are dozens of moving parts in every car engine, and sometimes it only takes one of these to go to lower your car’s performance.

Porsche engines are unique, and after years of use, can begin to show signs of wear. Our professionals have years of experience working on Porsche engines every day, and we are fully equipped to help diagnose and restore your engine, getting it back to its best.

There are some common Porsche engine problems that we can fix without the need for a full rebuild. However, if our diagnosis indicates that this is the best option, our team is highly experienced in rebuilding Porsche engines and will carry it out to the highest standard.

Why Visit a Specialist?

Engines are arguably the most unique component of any vehicle. The engine in your A-to-B is different from that in a sports car, for example. For this reason, you should always seek a specialist when dealing with high-end engines like those in your Porsche.
